Preparing for final exams

Dear students,
Please be reminded that the specimen exam paper is ONLY a sample to give you an idea of how the actual exam will be structured. It will be wise not to spend too much time analysing the sample paper.
Ideally, you should have read and understood all the chapters in your textbook covering the five units by now if you wish to score an A in your final exam.
If you have yet to cover all the topics and are hard pressed for time, you need to be logical and practical in preparing for the exam.
Part A will have 20 questions and Part B seven. Since there are 27 questions in these two parts, naturally they will be from all the five units. If you have not read all the units, you will not be able to answer a few questions.
In Part C, you have to choose three out of four short essay questions. The questions can only be from a maximum of four units.
In Part D, you will have to choose only one out of three long essay questions. In this case, the questions can only be from a maximum of three units.
So, for Part C and Part D, you need to focus on the key topics of the course. You must be familiar with at least three units, which cover the major issues, if you hope to do well in the essay questions.
Attempt all the questions, even if you are not well prepared. Chances are you will be able to answer the questions at least partially from general knowledge. Try not to leave the pages blank, especially for the essay questions.
